PAC presented at Korea International Renewable Energy Conference 2019

Antina Sander from the Renewables Grid Initiative and Duncan Gibb from REN21 presented the PAC project at the 2019 Korea International Renewable Energy Conference together with REN21.

The side event session concentrated on the role of grids to reach high shares of renewable energy and the importance of scenario development being an ambitious, collaborative exercise of many stakeholders, including civil society. The International Renewable Energy Conference (IREC), one of the main events co-hosted by REN21 took place the 22 - 25 of October in the Republic of Korea. Named KIREC after the hosting country, the conference helps move the momentum forward by bringing together new and different perspectives on how to accelerate the renewable energy uptake.
